In this exhibition new watercolours of horses, exotic in colour, appear in an imaginary world. In each one the horse is realised as a magical and timeless creature, full of delicacy and grace. The horse has always been a major factor in the artist’s life and this deep connection informs her work. Pigeons, doves and jackdaws are seen in their natural habitat. It is as if they have suddenly arrived to observe the viewer, just as Lawrence, in turn, has observed them
